The prevalence, diagnosis and interest in food hypersensitivity has greatly increased in the last few decades. Unfortunately, this has been accompanied by a proliferation of misinformation. Individuals with food hypersensitivity often feel frustrated by the lack or inconsistent service that they experience in the health care system, food service establishments, etc.   The purpose of “Food Allergy News” is to present concise and accurate information to individuals and organizations that would like to improve their services to customers with food hypersensitivities.  This website includes quarterly newsletters focusing on timely topics and information regarding the online training programs and presentation services. 

 

 
Food Allergy news was developed by Wendy Busse, MSc, RD. Wendy is a consulting dietitian in Alberta, Canada with over 15 years experience with food hypersensitivities. Her passion is creating and delivering dynamic learning experiences. Wendy graduated from the University of Alberta and completed a dietetic internship at the University of Alberta Hospitals in 1991. She also completed a Masters of Science at the University of British Columbia with a focus on food allergy research in 1996.
